🗝 Course Prerequisites
Basic development skills, as acquired in the Year 1 Game Development class. Students should also enter with, if not a game project to immediately work on, at least a working idea of what they would like to build.
🧠 Course Objectives
The course is focused on:
- Prototyping main game mechanics
- Iterating on several prototypes of game mechanics
- Gaining practical experience using dedicated equipment
- Calibrating, improving, finishing a game, based on practical design requriements
- Analysing and evaluating game prototypes
- Testing game mechanics, exploring alternatives

- Two presentations of game mechanic prototypes
