The course proposes the development of several fundamental themes in the field of digital arts from the perspective of the body as a dynamic manifestation, as an embodiment, as a continuous relationship, as movement-thinking-feeling. Classes are articulated around the concepts of interaction and immersion requiring reconsideration of the status of the creator, the performer and the user/visitor, whose positions become interchangeable. In this context, immersion becomes a new form of interaction supported by digital technologies that allow direct access to virtuality without the need for screens. In direct relation to this topic, the new type of multimodal perceptual response of the creator-performer will be researched by increasing the perceptual sensitivity. The central idea of these lectures is that, in the new environments, the body is also considered a carrier and relayer of information. Finally, all these themes reveal a new kind of materiality, causing a recalibration of the perceptual habits and emotional responses of the user/visitor.
