📜 Course Description

This course aids students in developing a solid dissertation project by supplying them with the necessary technical, research and aesthetic resources that complement the rest of the programme's curriculum. Lectures, seminars and practical labs are split among different instructors, with smaller groups or one-on-one sessions taking place as needed along the way towards a dissertation outline.

🧠 Course Objectives

Students in this course will:

• identify the theme and requirements for their dissertation project
• acquire the technical skills needed to complete the project
• be proficient in critical thinking, aesthetic literacy, contemporary art awareness and academic research
• complete a dissertation outline and project prototype and/or design document

Final Examination

The final examination will be conducted by the thesis coordinator, as chosen in Week 6. It will cover the contributions to the class over the semester, as well as the progress made with the dissertation outline and project R&D.
